This 1964 Baltimore Sun article described the actions of Havre de Grace Consolidated School teachers in protesting the pace of school desegregation. The article also details the treatment of the teachers and the admininstration as the district considered placing them in formerly whites-only schools. The group met during school hours and also wrote a letter with their concerns to the Harford County Board of Education and to local media.
