This image is from a Baltimore Afro-American report about the car explosion in Bel Air, Maryland that occurred in March 1970, just before the beginning of the H. Rap Brown trial. Many in the local black community were skeptical of the FBI's determination that the car exploded when a bomb it held went off by accident. Two black nationalists from Washington D.C. were in the car.
